What We Believe
The Bible
The bible is the Word of God given by inspiration of the Holy Ghost, and in it are the keys to salvation. From Genesis to Revelation, it is the story of Jesus Christ.
- John 1:1, 2 Timothy 3:16, Matthew 16:18, Acts 2:38, Hebrews 10:7
Salvation & Getting Into Heaven
God’s plan for salvation is not negotiable and will be required for any one that wants to see the Kingdom of God in peace.
Salvation as recorded 9 times in the Bible consists of:
Repentance - turn away from dead works, and towards Jesus Christ
Baptism - water submersion with the name Jesus Christ called over them
Infilling of the Holy Ghost - by the initial evidence of speaking with other tongues as the Spirit gives the utterance
- John 3:5, Hebrews 12:14
- Acts 2:38, Hebrews 6:1, Acts 2:41, Acts 8:16, Acts 10:48,
Acts 22:16, Acts 2:4, Acts 10:46
Holiness
Every Born-again believer is required to live a holy life, dedicated to Jesus Christ our LORD
- Leviticus 20:7, 1 Peter 1:16
The Church
“The Church” consists of born-again believers in Jesus Christ that are living out the Word of God to the best of their knowledge and using their gifts and abilities to edify the body.
- Ephesians 4:4 - 12; 1 Corinthians 12:1 - 13
The Rapture
Jesus is coming back for a glorious church, without spot or wrinkle. The dead in Christ shall rise first, and we which are alive and remain in Christ, those that have received his salvation, will be “raptured” or caught up to meet him in the air at his appearing.
There are no signs of the rapture, only Jesus’s Second Coming. The church must be “taken out of the way” before the “Beast” sits on the throne. When Jesus comes back to earth, it is to make war with his enemies.
- Ephesians 5:27, 1 Thessalonians 4:16, 17, 18
- Matthew 24:1-31, Luke 17:22-34, 2 Thessalonians 2:7-8,
Revelation 16:16
